Dear Friends and Supporters,
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our Kid Resilience Mental Health Workshop, kicking off this November and continuing on to various orphanages and public schools throughout the Philippines! This exciting initiative will be a transformative experience for hundreds of children who need our support the most. Over the course of the next several months, we’ll be empowering kids from underfunded schools and orphanages with the tools they need to build emotional strength, practice self-care, and—most importantly—have fun.
About the Kid Resilience Workshop
Our Kid Resilience Workshop is a one day event designed to teach children how to manage their emotions, develop coping skills, and learn essential hygiene practices. Through fun, creative activities, we help children express themselves, build confidence, and develop habits that will serve them for a lifetime. Using art as our main tool—like creating colorful mandalas that represent their feelings—the kids will explore emotions in a way that is engaging and empowering.
What’s Happening in November
The first workshop will take place this November at Ang Bahay Parola and Kanlungan ERMA Foundation in Laguna, Philippines, where we’ll host over 40 children for two days of learning, art, and laughter. Following the event, we’ll continue to bring this workshop to different orphanages and schools across the Philippines, providing much-needed support and education to the children who need it most. Our goal is to visit as many communities as possible, giving children the opportunity to escape the stresses of poverty, even if just for a weekend, and learn valuable life skills.
What the Kids Will Experience
Day 1: Emotions Unleashed! Through games and activities, children will learn how to identify and manage their emotions. We’ll dive into art therapy, using mandalas and other creative exercises to help them express their feelings in fun and positive ways.
What We ProvideEvery workshop includes:
Art Supplies: Everything the kids need to participate in the creative exercises.
Meals & Snacks: Nutritious food to keep them energized and focused.
Our Vision Moving Forward This is just the beginning! Our goal is to bring the Kid Resilience Workshop to as many orphanages and public schools as possible. With over 4 million children living in severe deprivation across the Philippines, our work is far from done. By teaching emotional resilience and essential self-care skills, we’re giving these kids the tools to navigate the hardships of poverty and build brighter futures.
How You Can Help Your continued support makes all of this possible. If you’d like to get involved, there are many ways to contribute:
Donate: Your donations help us reach more children, providing the supplies and resources needed to run these workshops.
Volunteer: We’re always looking for passionate volunteers to help bring our programs to life.
Spread the Word: Share our mission with your network to help us raise awareness and expand our impact.
Join Us in This Journey
We’re excited to begin this new chapter, and we hope you’ll join us in empowering the children of the Philippines. Together, we can create a world where every child has the chance to thrive!
