Mental Health & Resilience Workshops
Empowering Children to Feel Safe, Supported, and Strong
Children in the Philippines face overwhelming challenges—poverty, trauma, and fear. Over 26 million live in poverty, 1 in 5 show signs of anxiety or depression, and up to half of children in orphanages experience severe emotional distress. Every year, 60,000–100,000 children are trafficked, and 1 in 3 has suffered violence.
The Kid Resilience Workshops offers a safe space for children to heal, learn, and grow. Through mental health awareness, safety skills, violence prevention, leadership, and creative expression, we help children feel heard, valued, and confident.
The program is divided into the following workshops:
-
Mental Health Awareness Workshop – Helping children understand their emotions and develop healthy coping strategies. Using art, storytelling, and mindfulness to process emotions and promote healing.
-
Safety Awareness & Violence Prevention Workshop– Teaching children how to recognize unsafe situations and protect themselves. Addressing bullying, abuse, and child trafficking
-
Leadership Skills– Building confidence, self-worth, and the ability to make positive decisions.
