Our Story
At Let Love Thrive, our story begins with a deep, unwavering commitment to the women and children of the Philippines, who are often left to struggle against overwhelming odds. We understand that behind every woman’s strength is a journey marked by resilience, but also by trauma. Behind every child’s potential is the painful reality of neglect, abandonment, and lack of opportunity. Jay and Christine Ramos founded this organization after witnessing these struggles firsthand.

Christine’s own childhood in the Philippines was shaped by abuse and trauma. After enduring years of therapy, she gained a profound understanding of the silent battles many women face in their homes and communities. As a mother, she felt a deep responsibility to help others find safety, healing, and empowerment. She knew that supporting women was the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and neglect for future generations.

Through years of traveling between the Philippines and the U.S., Christine and Jay saw how children, too, suffer as a result of systemic neglect. Without the proper support, love, and education, many children are left vulnerable to the harsh realities of their environments. Many are neglected, abandoned, or denied the care they desperately need by both families and society. Christine and Jay realized that without investing in the women—the mothers, sisters, and daughters—children would continue to live without hope of a better future.

This recognition became the driving force behind Let Love Thrive. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are committed to supporting these women and children by providing them with a lifeline of health aid, education, mental health resources, and violence prevention programs. By focusing on empowering women, we aim to create a ripple effect that will ultimately uplift the entire community, one woman and one child at a time.

We believe in the transformative power of women’s resilience. When a woman is empowered, she can lift not only herself but also the children she nurtures. Our mission is to help women regain their sense of dignity, strength, and purpose, and to ensure that children have access to the care and education they deserve. Through our programs, we are breaking the cycles of neglect, poverty, and violence that hold families back.

Together, we are building a future where every woman and child has the opportunity to thrive, supported by love, care, and empowerment. No one deserves to be forgotten, and we are here to make sure that never happens.
We are dedicated to standing by every woman and child, ensuring they have the support and resources they need to overcome challenges, fostering resilience and hope and build brighter futures.
Our Mission
Let Love Thrive’s mission is to empower women and children in marginalized Philippine communities by providing the tools and support needed to build safer, healthier, and more hopeful futures. Our work focuses on mental health awareness, educational empowerment, reproductive health education, and violence prevention, addressing the challenges faced by millions living in poverty, violence, and neglect.

Beyond these initiatives, we provide health and essential aid through medical missions, general health checkups, and access to critical resources for women and children in impoverished areas. By creating inclusive pathways and tailored assistance, we nurture growth, resilience, and long-term transformation. Our mission goes beyond survival—it’s about ensuring that every woman and child has the opportunity to heal, grow, and truly thrive.

Our Vision
We envision a world where no woman or child in marginalized Philippine communities faces hardship on their own. We dream of a future where everyone can break free from the cycles of poverty, violence, and neglect. Through our support in education, mental health, and medical care, we strive to be a guiding light during their toughest times. Our mission is to turn their struggles into strength, helping them not just survive, but truly thrive, and step into a future brimming with possibilities and love.
